Mar Rojo (Madrid, Spain) is a booking agent and artist manager at Sonido Muchacho and an independent festival curator. Holding a Ph.D. in Media Studies, she has also worked for Primavera Sound booking team, contributing to the 2022 and 2023 festival line-ups and tours. With a decade-long tenure as a venue programmer in Madrid venues, she also improved her expertise as an independent music promoter. Her portfolio includes freelance curation for institutional programs, notably Veranos de la Villa (2020-2024), where she’s promoted international artists. Additionally, she serves as the proud vice-president of Asociacion MIM, a leading women’s association dedicated to championing gender equality in Spain’s music industry.
