Sofia Matos Silva works in journalism, photojournalism, photography, writing, communication and is always researching something, but is above all a work in progress. She finds her fascination with the world in the sciences and her reason for living in the arts. Lost in a chronic paradox and in constant ramblings about the complexity of life, she expresses herself through analogue photographs with multiple exposures and words written in blocks that no one will ever read. Passionate about investigative journalism, it is in the environment and human rights that she tries to make her contribution to the fight for a better world. She’s interested in everything, but sometimes also in nothing; hence the need to create all the time. Currently a freelancer, she has a degree in Communication Sciences: Journalism, Counselling and Multimedia, and a master’s degree in Literary, Cultural and Interart Studies.
