Sérgio Lopes, 42 years old, suffered an accident in 2003 while working on the restoration of his family home, resulting in a spinal cord injury in the cervical region, which left him with tetraparesis. In 2011, he became involved in the fight for the rights of people with disabilities. He has served as a leader for two associations for and on behalf of people with disabilities. Soon, he will launch a podcast about activism in disability.
