Owner of several radio stations—Sudoeste in Lisbon and Porto; Amália and Marginal in Lisbon; Nova Era and Festival in Porto—Luís Montez has carved out a path across various frequencies and radio groups. From directing iconic stations like Antena 3 and the influential XFM to managing Rádio Comercial and the former Rádio Nostalgia within the Media Capital group, Luís Montez has been behind some of the most captivating radio phenomena in Portugal over the past twenty years, such as Rádio Amália and SBSR Radio. Among the various stations he oversees, a deep passion for music is always present, which is no surprise given that he is the founder and director of Música no Coração. With nearly 30 years of activity, the company has been a pioneer in the production and promotion of shows in Portugal, particularly in introducing the concept of music festivals as we know them today. It is responsible for leading festivals such as Super Bock Super Rock, MEO Sudoeste, Sumol Summer Fest, Super Bock em Stock, Santa Casa Alfama, and Jardins do Marquês Oeiras Valley, which had its first edition in 2021.
