Luana Flores, from Paraíba, is a beatmaker, DJ, percussionist, singer and songwriter who has made a name for herself on the music scene by developing a fusion of the rhythms of popular culture from the Northeast of Brazil with the electronic universe, focusing on themes such as gender, sexuality and territory. In 2020 she won the SIM São Paulo + Fluve PITCH competition. In 2021 she was the winner of the SIM São Paulo award in the New Talent category and winner of the PITCH new artists of the Woman Music Event award. In the same year she released her first album “Nordeste Futurista” and in 2022 her first visual album of the same name. In 2023 she released new singles with Cátia de França, also from Paraíba. She was recently selected for the Brazil-France Co-creation Programme 2023/2024 of SIM SP and Groover. This year she is preparing for the release of her new album.
