Marco Paiva is the Artistic Director of Terra Amarela. He holds a degree in Theatre – Actor Training from the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema. In 2008, he completed the European Theatre Enhancement Course at École Des Mêitres, led by Brazilian director Enrique Diaz (CIA dos Atores). He also has a postgraduate degree in Entrepreneurship and Cultural Studies – Cultural Management Stream from ISCTE.

Marco collaborates as an actor, director, and facilitator with various cultural organisations and artistic creation structures both nationally and internationally. He has been involved with the Crinabel Teatro project since 2000, taking on artistic coordination responsibilities between 2008 and 2021.

In 2018, he founded TERRA AMARELA – Platform for Inclusive Artistic Creation, which focuses on accessible culture and inclusive artistic practices. Since 2023, he has been a guest assistant professor at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, where he coordinates the course unit on Inclusive Artistic Practices.
