Rita Tomás is the Director of Communications at TBA, a new municipal theatre in Lisbon dedicated to experimental performing arts. Before this, she worked at Centro Cultural de Belém, and then at Maria Matos Teatro Municipal team for almost ten years. Rita has a BA in Cultural Studies by Universidade de Lisboa and a postgraduate degree in Editing and Publishing by UCP. More recently, she was a Gulbenkian scholarship holder in the Arts Administration and Cultural Policy MA at Goldsmiths, London. Rita has been teaching courses in Cultural Communication for the past years at universities, with Acesso Cultura and Forum Dança.
