A TALK WITH CULTURAL PROGRAMMERS
Cultural programming is a complex and demanding practice that involves not only creating meaningful experiences for the public, but also a constant negotiation between creativity, available resources and the social and cultural dynamics of the present. Influenced by various factors, the cultural programmer performs both a curatorial and a strategic act, with great social and political impact.
This round table brings together programmers for a conversation about their work processes, reflecting on the practice and impact of their activities and debating horizontal and participatory programming models. At the end, we’ll have time to find out what they’ve been listening to and programming. Is it different? Why?
