Description:
Building on the code of conduct of the Music Managers Forum (UK), this lab is aimed at local agents and managers interested in developing a code of conduct for their profession. The session will provide an opportunity to share experiences, listen to the needs and ideas of Portuguese participants, and collaborate in the creation of guidelines that can support both existing and new organizations in the professionalization and consolidation of a job often dominated by commission-based models.
Objectives:
To share experiences and discuss the specific needs of Portuguese agents and managers.
To jointly develop guidelines to help formalize and professionalize the practice of music agency.
Adapt the Music Managers Forum code of conduct to the realities and challenges of the Portuguese market.
