Rumbo Tumba is the electro acoustic music project by Facundo Salgado, in which he experiments and fuses rhythms and sound textures from different parts of South America – principally from the Andean region –  with urban beats such as Dub, Hip Hop and House.

His work harmonizes the profound emotions of living in direct contact with nature and the everyday dynamics of large cities, awakening a middle path between two worlds that often seem antagonistic. Mountains and cities, earth and asphalt, wood and electricity, fuse together to give place to his music.

When seeing his music live, he is a “one-man orchestra”. Autochthonous and digital instruments are played, recorded and mixed in real time, creating an atmosphere of flight and movement that invites you to dance. Deep grooves, electronic drums and wooden percussion coexist with the sonorous charm of charango and wind instruments that are characteristics of the Andean region. A “craftsmen of organic loops”, he builds his musical journey step-by-step, where tradition and modernity complement each other.
