OMAR JR is a band born after the meeting between El Nicolas from Casablanca Drivers and Martin Luther BB King from Naive New Beaters. They decided to pay a tribute to Omar Jr (a character born in Japan and currently living in Mexico) by creating the first Mezcal Pop band in the world. Through music with undulatory virtues characterized by some sharp fuzz guitars, synth fades, sinewy rhythm boxes and strong bass lines, OMAR JR relates their spiritual father’s stories between Japan and Mexico.
