Nídia, who started out this year with an epic NYE in Tokyo and a summery dip into Tasmania’s FAUX MO festival this January, had a formidable 2018 starting off by winning a Grammi – the ‘Swedish Grammys’ – for her production work contributed to Fever Ray’s ‘Plunge’ album, and topping it off with the release of ‘Popo’ on the Adult Swim Singles series and getting to the stage of London’s Southbank Centre with the collaborative show The Honey Colony with Bonnie Banane, Kelsey Lu, Lafawndah, Tirzah and Mica Levi.
Her follow up to the highly praised 2017’s ’Nídia é Má, Nídia é Fudida’ LP should see the light of the day towards the Summer, after recent acclaimed remix work for Yaeji’s ‘One More’ hit and Kelela’s ‘Take Me Apart’ album.
