ANGER consists of Julian Angerer and Nora Pider, both originally from Brixen, South Tyrol. The pop duo moved to Vienna and brought a beautifully melancholic mood with them, accented with a soft Italian flair. ANGER describes their own story in just a few, but strong words: “Emo-Boy meets cool skater girl. They don’t like each other, of course. Eventually they become friends, then a couple. And then a band.” They won the XA-Music Export Award (2019) and the Amadeus Music Award (FM4 Award) 2020. ANGER played a couple of festival shows, including Maifeld Derby (GER), Frequency Festival (AT), Sonar Festival (ESP), the renowned Reeperbahn Festival (GER), Waves Vienna (AT), Eurosonic Norderslag (NL), Ment Ljubljana (SVN). They are currently working on their #2 Album. Their songwriting is influenced by different genres and languages. Their future pop sounds refreshing and unique: they combine reggaeton, hiphop elements, autotune and electric dreamy guitars.
