Guisado Bros (Monkey After Week)
César Guisado is one of the founding members of La Mota Ediciones, the company promoting the festival Monkey Week, one of the leading showcase festivals and music conferences in Spain with 14 editions celebrated so far. He is also promoter of other festivals like Freek Fest, Monkey Weekend, or Monkey Day and curator and producer of other events such as The Concerts of Seville Film Festival “Seff Noche”, a 9 days in a row series of concerts to spice up the festivals’ nights after the screenings, or Suntracks, a new and innovative project devoted to connect the spanish music industry with Music Supervisors from all around the world.
Jesús Guisado He began in the publishing world directing Freek Magazine, showcase of the pop culture that for years was the guerilla voice of the alternative scene in Spain. The network of contacts that offered the already mythical publication came to life in 2007 with the creation of the garage-punk festival Freek Fest, an indispensable appointment for lovers of psychotronic rock. In 2009, encouraged by Enrique Bunbury and producer Paco Loco, founded with its partners Tali and César the first festival of showcases, conference and trade fair of the music industry of Spain: Monkey Week, through which hundreds of bands have passed of the entire planet and thousands of guests and professionals of the sector. He is also behind the musical programming of the Seville European Film Festival.
