Miguel Garrido is the founder and CEO of Charco Musica (www.charco.biz) , an agency focused on the development of Ibero-American musicians with offices in Spain and Chile. In July 2017 he directed Río Babel -the first Ibero-American large-scale festival in Europe (http://festivalriobabel.com/). Previous undertakings include Festival Charco (http://festivalcharco.com/), the cycle La Noche Del Jaguar and Club Charco. He has also been in charge of programming Escenario Charco at Festival Sonorama and the cycle Zaragoza Latina. During the last 20 years he has been working on the booking and production of concert tours in Asia, Europe and America. His latest international tours featured a few leading Ibero-American and Spanish musicians such as Babasónicos, Molotov, Natalia Lafourcade, Russian Red, Illya Kuryaki & the Valderramas, Gepe, Macaco, Kevin Johansen, Tulsa, Onda Vaga, Los Nastys, Nacho Vegas, Carla Morrison, Nortec Collective and Mateo Kingman, an activity that has placed Charco as a reference agency of the industry in the region. He has taken part in talks within international fairs like Womex, Primavera PRO, BIME, MICA, Monkey Week, Aporfest Talkfest, among others.
