Vinicius Terra (BR)
Vinicius Terra is a rapper, cultural articulator and professor of Portuguese / Literature. Born and raised between Pavuna and São João de Meriti (Rio de Janeiro) he is considered a singular and pioneering figure in hip-hop culture for intensely promoting the construction and strengthening of ties between Portuguese-speaking countries.
In 2013, he launched “Versos que Atravessam o Atlântico”, the first musical record with artists from Brazil, Portugal and Lusophone Africa; considered a hymn to the so-called Nova Lusofonia. The following year he founded the Projecto B.P.M: Brasil Portugal Misturados, the 1st Portuguese-Brazilian rap collective.
He is the musical curator of the EDP stage at FLIP and constantly directs Terra do Rap. He is also responsible for the Batalha da Língua Portuguesa (Portuguese Language Battle), an offshoot of the Festival, which has already awarded artists with exchanges in other CPLP countries.
