Maze (PT)
André Neves, better known as Maze in the heart of Hip Hop culture, has been using words as his tool of intervention since the 1990s. He is a founding member of the Dealema collective, a legendary Portuguese Rap band that has been active since 1996. Multifaceted in his talents, he realized early on that what gives him the most pleasure in this existence is creation. Over more than two decades, he has excelled in the roles of activist, cultural agitator, and promoter, visual artist, urban poet, and educator. He lent his voice to the Oblá FM and Ginga Beat radio programs on Red Bull Radio for a decade, promoting Lusophone music. In the realm of spoken word, he has been investing in creating his own poems, recording them, and performing them live. He currently collaborates as a facilitator in the urban music school project, Skoola. Furthermore, he has been conducting writing workshops with students and teachers in secondary education all over the country. In parallel, he is dedicated to the development of the Integral Education Training Method (MEFI Art Concept).
