Mariana Duarte (born 1988) is a journalist at Público, where she writes about performing arts, music, visual arts, and cultural policy. She also served as the editor of MIL Magazine, a publication associated with the MIL – Lisbon International Music Network festival. Beyond her work in journalism, she has been involved in various projects, including contributing to the Theater National São João’s Reading Manuals, writing program notes for exhibitions, and overseeing the editorial coordination of the promotional program for “O Rivoli Já Dança!”.

More recently, she conducted interviews for the podcast “Ao Fim e ao Cabo,” a project by Ao Cabo Teatro under the direction of Luís Araújo. Mariana also contributed to the online publication “Recurso 2021,” which resulted from the homonymous training program developed by the Estrutura company. She resides in Porto.
