
Marcelo Domingues (BR)
Marcelo Domingues, a producer and cultural manager, is the founder of Demo Sul, an independent music festival that has been taking place in Londrina, Brazil, since 2001. In June 2023, the festival expanded its horizons by hosting its first edition in Portugal, in Caldas da Rainha. Additionally, Marcelo has taken on the role of Vice President at FBA (Brazilian Festival Association), an association that brings together 27 Brazilian festivals.
With a solid academic background, Marcelo holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Management, a postgraduate MBA in Project Management, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Management at the School of Arts and Design in Caldas da Rainha (ESAD.CR).
He recently founded RIMEL – the International Network of Music Between Places, a project focused on promoting and exporting contemporary Portuguese music to Brazil, strengthening cultural and musical ties between the two countries.
