Magda Bull (PT)

Magda Bull (Lisbon 1977) is a cultural producer, trained in contemporary dance production and management (Forum Dança, Lisbon, 2001) and creative production on television (Universidade Independente, Lisbon, 2004). In the last two decades, she has worked with several independent artists and national and foreign dance, theater and audiovisual’s companies working on the fields of creation, production or programming. Throughout her professional experience in Portugal, she has had the opportunity to work with different national public and private funding programs. She collaborated, as a specialized technician, with the Direção-Geral das Artes/Portuguese Ministry of Culture (2017-2018) under the new model of funds for arts (2017). From 2018-2023, she was the general manager of Olga Roriz Dance Company, in Lisbon, accompanying the various artistic projects in the fields of creation, circulation, training, programming and audience development. Currently she works as project manager at Hangar – Artistic Research Center located in Graça, Lisbon. HANGAR includes a center of exhibitions, artistic residencies, and artistic studies. It is also a center of education, talks, and conversations that unify geographic locations, cultures and identities and stimulate the development of artistic and theoretical practices.
