
Mafalda Corrêa Nunes (PT)
Mafalda Corrêa Nunes is a PhD fellow at the University of Lisbon – Institute for Social Sciences. She holds a MA degree in Art Administration and Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths College – University of London and a specialization in Global Urban Studies from the University of Copenhagen. Since 2011, she has been working at the intersection of Art and Urbanism in project management, research and production. Her research interests relate to the understanding of global models and processes of culture-led urban development and its impacts in urban policy and governance. Her PhD thesis draws on her experience as PhD research fellow within the Horizon 2020 project “ROCK: Regeneration and Optimization of Cultural Heritage in Creative and Knowledge Cities” – which has been implemented between 2017 and 2020 in the Marvila and Beato neighborhoods in Lisbon.
