Ivone started in the music industry in 2006 as a receptionist and has evolved into becoming a promoter for international artists, first at Live Nation Spain for 10 years. She is currently part of the booking team at Primavera Sound. Learning the trade of music promotion has meant living in a constant state of learning, continuously renewing herself, and, above all, learning to work as part of a team, both with colleagues and external partners. She manages all the areas and sub-sectors involved in organizing a concert, from legal and administrative matters, marketing, and contract negotiation, to production and logistics, all while not forgetting the most important aspect: the artists and negotiating their fees. Professionalization and the feminization of the industry are two of the main pillars on which Ivone bases her work. That’s why she is a founding member of the MIM association and served on the board of directors from 2016 to 2019. She also teaches classes on the music industry in various settings.
