Francisca Maria Branco Venâncio 1992, from Porto, has roots in Trás-os-Montes and Minho. She studied Artistic Production, specialising in Jewellery, at Escola Artística Soares dos Reis in 2010, a degree in Ceramics and Glass Design in 2013, and a Master’s in Product Design in 2017, at Escola Superior de Artes e Design das Caldas da Rainha. Alongside design, she worked as a Senior Technician in the Plaster and Glass Ceramics Workshop at ESAD.Cr between 2015 and 2016 and was a Senior Technician in Curricular Enrichment Activities in Primary Education between 2016 and 2019. She was part of the research group in the DEGREN project at ESAD.Cr’s LIDA research centre during 2019. She also develops cultural production projects through Grémio Caldense de Cultura e Recreio, a collective she has been part of since its foundation in 2014. She does other production work for organisations such as POGO, FUTURO, MOLDA, ADOC, CALDAS DA RAINHA CIDADE CRIATIVA, LIDA and PATRIMÓNIO HISTÓRICO – Centro de Estudos since 2018; OSSO since 2019 and VICARA, Estúdio PEDRITA and IMINENTE since 2021.
