
Fernanda Polacow
Fernanda is a screenwriter, director, and script consultant who splits her time between Lisbon and São Paulo. She develops, writes, and directs for TV, streaming, and cinema. She has worked as a screenwriter for series on HBO, GNT, TV Cultura, Globoplay, NatGeo, Discovery Channel, Al Jazeera, NHK (Japan), RTP (Portugal), among others. As a script consultant, she has worked for the Cabíria Festival, Projeto Paradiso, PLOT, Pitch Me! (Netflix and the Portuguese Academy of Cinema), and as a mentor for IndieLab, the project development workshop at the IndieLisboa Festival. She is also a part of the Torino Script Lab 2023 as a Story Editor and a member of the talent network of the Projeto Paradiso. Fernanda is a co-founder of MUTIM (an association of women working in moving images), a mother, and an amateur percussionist.
