Dani Ribas (BR)
With Dani Ribas (Sonar Cultural, S.O.M/Mídia Ninja, Brazil). She holds a PhD in Sociology from UNICAMP and developed the ID_MUSIQUE method: Fanbase beyond the Algorithm, which won the 2021 Business Innovation Award in the “Transform Your Research into Business” program by the Campinas Forum Foundation. In 2022, she was a guest mentor at WOMEX and received the WME – Women’s Music Event award in the Professional of the Year category. In 2023, she won the Music Professionals Award in the Research Project category: Techs, Algorithms, and Audience Segmentation. She has worked as a consultant for UNESCO and Mercosur Cultural, conducted research at the Research and Training Center of SESC SP, served as research director at DATA SIM/SIM SP, and conducted research on Creative Economy for IPEA – Institute of Applied Economic Research. Currently, she is a Music Business professor at various Brazilian institutions and works as a consultant in music career planning and management, using data analysis and audience behavior trends.
