Cristiana Vale Pires (PT)

Cristiana Vale Pires (she/her) is an intersectional feminist, anti-prohibitionist, and ally of queer, anti-racist, and housing rights movements. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s and a doctorate in Anthropology, with postdoctoral experience and independent research in gender studies. She is a founding member at Kosmicare, where she collaborates as a psychologist and project manager. Additionally, she works as a researcher at the Center for Human Development Research (CEDH) and as a lecturer at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Portuguese Catholic University (FEP-UCP).

She has been working in the field of drugs since 2009 and, in recent years, has collaborated on research initiatives, consultancy, and the design of intervention responses that are responsive to diversity and tailored to the experiences of drug consumers. She has also collaborated nationally and internationally with organizations in the nightlife and music festival sectors to implement protocols and actions promoting risk reduction, gender mainstreaming, and ethical care.
