Liveurope Online Festival

September 22, 2020 Convention

Liveurope Online Festival happens on September 24 and 25 with 3 hours of streamed concerts and a conference programme aimed at live music sector professionals.

Liveurope and the 16 music venues that are part of the network joined to put together a truly European and cross-border online festival.

Renewing the European music scene

For the first time ever, the Liveurope Festival – the flagship annual festival of the live music platform for new European talent – will take place online under the motto of “Renewing the European music scene”.  Seeing the current pandemic as a resetting moment for the music sector and our societies as a whole, Liveurope and its venues launched a statement to reaffirm their commitment to continue working closely together with their European partners to boost the circulation of Europe’s rich musical diversity and highlight the unique role venues can take in reviving the music ecosystem.

With this in mind, the event will allow the discovery of some of the most promising acts of our continent in live acts streamed from the iconic music venues’ stages. Danifox, producer and DJ from Principe label, is the Portuguese artist that, on September 25, plays live from Musicbox alongside 10+ European acts. The livestream starts at 17:00 from Liveurope’s Facebook and Youtube.

Conference for music professionals

The Liveurope Online Festival also includes a conference dedicated to music professionals which will take place in parallel to the concerts streams on 24 and 25 September. Through a series of 4 working sessions approaching different themes, music professionals will look at what is needed to lay the foundations for a more desirable future for the music sector. MIL is one of the partners for the conference and is the curator of a panel about the importance of music venues and cultural centres as cultural mediators.

This conference open to all music venue professionals in Europe upon registration on the link here. Registration is free of charge.
