LAURA LOW

Versatility, emotion and flow. Singer-songwriter Laura Low has earned being considered one of the most relevant independent artists in the Canary Islands (Spain). She writes, dances, co-produces, directs and is part of the entire creative process of her project. Her music is impossible to classify within any specific genre and she herself describes it as “a mixture of many colors and textures that are still loading”. Her latest project “Alma Vieja” is a conceptual album in which the artist explores genres such as tango, bolero, classical music and Canarian folklore and revisits them with a contemporary urban sound. A constant leap between eras, genres and emotions that allowed her to perform at Benidorm Fest Euroclub 2023 (in charge of choosing the Spanish representative for the Eurovision Song Contest) with the single “Te Maldigo”, thanks to which some have considered her as the “neo-bolero creator”. Laura Low stands out as one of the most versatile artists on the current music scene, reinventing herself through the constant search for new sounds that, as she herself comments, are impossible to classify within any genre.
