Júlio Resende is a musician, pianist, composer and one of the most international Portuguese artists. Although Resende has had a background education in Classical Music, he soon discovered we wasn’t satisfied with being an interpreter of compositions in which he could not improvise. He has already recorded several albums. The intense and very relevant path he walked in the universe of Jazz led him to thinking about improvising in other musical genres. It was this determination that inspired him to get in touch with Fado, in which he crossed tradition and modernity, casting a new look at the Portuguese music through his piano.
