DJ Maboku shared until recently with DJ Lilocox the duo C.D.M. (Casa da Mãe Produções), a seminal production team north of Lisbon formed in 2011 and that spontaneously immersed in the youth culture of the social neighborhoods where they lived and moved, an innovative and vibrant electronic dance music, eventually seducing and attracting in not long ago a huge legion of enthusiasts in the suburbs of the capital, PALOP diaspora and all the listener attentive and eager for aesthetic freshness in the sound that makes us dance. Born in Angola but since he was a child living in Bairro do Pendão, in Queluz, Maboku is an excellent DJ whose live mixing style is awe of polyrhythmic vibration, serene but wonderful sharing an inspiring creative energy, which has seduced all like dance floors where your perfume has spread. He was part of the Piquenos DJs in the Ghetto (with Lilocox, Liofox, Dadifox, Firmeza), modeled by the example of the pioneering DJs in the Ghetto (Marfox, Nervoso, Pausas, Jesse, Fofuxo, Nk), with whom he edited the split EP on debut vinyl ‘BNM / PDDG ‘at Príncipe at the end of 2013. In February 2015 the EP’ Malucos de Raiz ‘by C.D.M. also at Príncipe, since an important milestone in the path of the publishing house and the musical culture that has nourished this new generation of producers.
