Cachupa Psicadélica is a project led by Lula’s (Luís Gomes). Born and raised in Mindelo, on the island of São Vicente in Cape Verde, Lula’s was a child in the 80s and fell in love with Seattle rock as a teenager, in a Mindelo full of “Latin rockers”. One day, without realizing it, he ended up studying in Caldas da Rainha and, after having gone through several musical projects, he found himself at the crossroads of his Psychedelic Cachupa: “Music to make photosynthesis. Music from the bowels of Cape Verde, cultural nation”.
