Hanaa Ouassim (FR)
Hanaa Ouassim is a percussionist, singer and DJ who has performed at traditional Moroccan weddings and on dance floors across Europe. Of French-Moroccan origin, she was introduced to traditional music, folklore and percussion as a child. She then grew up in Reims, where she worked with a number of artists, including Acid Arab and Léonie Pernet, whom she later accompanied on stage.
Today, a more personal cycle is beginning with the release of her first album on Pan European Recording and the preparation of a live with numerous dates already scheduled, including several opening acts for Flavien Berger, such as at the Olympia last May.
At the same time, Hanaa releases a series of more club-oriented mixtapes, revealing her nocturnal side.
These concerts are supported by Liveurope: the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote emerging European artists. Liveurope ist co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
