Born into a family of musicians and artists, Bebé (18 years old) has been standing out early on the national scene due to her unique vocal tone. She has been compared to jazz divas like Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan, capturing the attention of Jô Soares with her talent. In 2011, she was invited for an interview on “Programa do Jô” (Jô’s Show).
In 2016, her passion for the great jazz divas led her to interpret songs by Billie Holiday. She participated in The Voice Kids Brasil and, at the invitation of maestro Jamil Maluf, she performed accompanied by the Piracicaba Symphony Orchestra. In 2019, she performed at Sala São Paulo with the Brasil Jazz Sinfônica, where she was chosen as a revelation of new talents. Also with the Brasil Jazz Sinfônica, in 2020, she took part in a show at Ibirapuera in homage to women, alongside Roberta Sá, Fafá de Belém, Leila Pinheiro, Ana Vitória, and other great artists.
In 2021, she released her first original album, “Bebé,” which was awarded the ProAc in 2019. Produced by Sergio Machado Plim, the album proposes a new sonic aesthetic. CNN considered her one of the 10 singers who will change the Brazilian music scene, and she was nominated for the “Revelation of the Year” category by the Women Music Events Awards 22, Associação Paulista dos Críticos de Arte (APCA), and Prêmio Profissionais da Música (PPM). She was selected by SIM São Paulo to perform in Lisbon at the Mil Lisboa Festival. Recently, Bebé performed at Primavera Sound São Paulo in the city (Palacio das Convenções Anhembi) and recorded on rapper BK’s new album, ICARUS.
