As Docinhas is a musical project that emerged in 2016 in Viana do Castelo. Initially, the band was formed by Cire Ndiaye (violinist, author and singer), Lee Meneres (guitarist, author and singer) and Alexandre Vieira (guitarist, author and singer). Their musical style mixes a raw “punk” violin and guitar with jazz influences . After Alex’s death, Cire and Lee reunited in 2021 and released their first LP “XANDO”. At the moment, they perform on stage accompanied by a band of 5 musicians (keys, drums, saxophone, bass and back vocals).
